I had the privilege to chaperone Makayla's first, second grade field trip to Neo Park.
This park is more like a zoo, but most of the animals roam free. There are stations where you can buy different types of food around the park to feed the animals This place wasn't too stroller friendly and had me frustrated at times especially since McKinley barely used it. I think this is our last outing with a stiller. :(
Waiting for Makayla to get to the park and were the first ones there to feed the birds. They were very hungry and excited.
This funny guy loved McKinley. He was taller than she was and made me very nervous when he wanted the bread crumbs in her hand.
It was a little creepy being surrounded by all these birds, some of which are huge and out in the open
These cactus trees look like they are dancing
At the entrance and exit of the petting zoo are these wet mats. You wipe your feet coming and going so you don't taking anything with you either way. I think it is such a great idea.
We made it to the petting zoo!
Makayla was a real Dr. Doolittle
This guy was sneaking bread crumbs fro the stroller cup holder. I tried to keep a straight face to get pictures, but McKinley caught on and was NOT happy about her new friend being so close.
Riding on the mini train while waiting to get on the big train
All aboard! Time to relax and enjoy the tour of the park.
A dinosaur bird! I wish Kayden was here to see this.
