Trying to get settled

8-3-15

Today was a very easy going day. We went to Camp Foster- my new favorite base that has everything.  We are looking at what our furniture options are because we will need to get a couch. A few days ago we checked out a Japanese furniture store and well…the selection just won’t work for us.

We also got that amazing housing call! We start the paperwork for our new place tomorrow! As soon as we got back to our room we got another call that our car was ready! Double yay today. I love our new set of wheels. I didn’t realize we bought the sports edition. So cute. Lol

Our first trip with our new car was to the commissary. With news of possibly our first typhoon hitting us at the end of the week we wanted to beat the crowds and stock up now. This is a learning process and I am sure we will perfect it soon. Typhoon season lasts until Nov. with the majority during August and September.

A Japanese elevator...they are not very big and get very hot inside.

Well we spent the ENTIRE day working on our housing paperwork. I am about done with these games. They make is so difficult and I do not understand why. Instead of taking care of everything at one location, they make you drive around from place to place and even different bases to complete everything. This time Preston has more patience than I, but good news is we are done! We don’t move in until next Thursday due to military housing. **vent over**
We tried a different noodle place and I loved it! I have found I am very particular of the type of noodle used. It was so nice to be able to eat with everyone else! I have gone many nights with no dinner. I really do hate being so picky.

She's just too cute!

Soon she will be using chopsticks!
