I waited until 9 pm last night to check the airlines FB page
and wish I did 3 hours earlier. At least they already let us know that we would
NOT be flying today either. The hotel however, is completely booked for
tonight, what are we going to do?
Another update- flying out at 2:30am with a 10:30pm check in
time (today). Phew, won’t need a hotel room after all. Check-Out wasn’t until noon and
we enjoyed every second until then in our room! It did take a while to get a
shuttle to the airport, but once there we checked our bags into the USO. Thank
goodness for the USO!!! Seattle has a very nice one too. So now that we were
luggage free we went out to do a little exploring. We figured out how to use
the light rail and ventured to pikes place market and had lunch at the crab pot. We even ran into a
few fellow stranded passengers at the restaurant as well. After a bit of
walking around and after making sure our tummies were full we headed back to
the airport.
